Welcome to Lucy Ward Photo. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of this website, our online store, and any associated client galleries. By accessing or purchasing through this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Website Terms

1.1 Ownership & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, text, logos, and graphics — is owned by Lucy Ward Photo and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, screenshot, download, edit, or use any images without explicit permission or purchase of rights.

1.2 Permitted Use

This website may be used only for personal, noncommercial browsing, viewing portfolios, and booking sessions.

1.3 Policy Changes

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance of the latest version.

2. Photography Session Terms

2.1 Booking Sessions

All bookings must be made through the online booking form or by direct written confirmation. Payment of the Session Fee (when required) confirms your date and time.

2.2 Session Fees & Refunds

• If the Photographer cancels: All payments are refunded within 5 business days
• If the Client cancels more than 3 days before the session: Session Fee is refunded
• If the Client cancels within 3 days of the session: Session Fee is forfeited
• If the Client wishes to reschedule: the original Session Fee will be applied to the new date, pending Photographer availability

2.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared. Late arrivals may reduce shooting time, and additional time is not always guaranteed.

2.4 Weather & Unexpected Changes

Weather-dependent sessions will be rescheduled as needed. The Photographer reserves the right to determine unsuitable environmental conditions.

2.5 Gallery Delivery

Final edited images are delivered within approximately 2–4 weeks unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Digital Images & Licensing

3.1 Gallery Downloads

Digital image files are delivered through an online gallery platform. The number of included images depends on the session type selected.

3.2 License for Personal Use

Purchased images include a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use license for printing and sharing with family and friends.

Clients may not:

• Sell images
• Submit images to competitions/publications without approval
• Edit or apply filters that alter the photographer’s work
• Use images for commercial, promotional, or business purposes without a separate licensing agreement

3.3 Digital Product Refunds

Due to the nature of digital files, no refunds or exchanges are offered once final images have been delivered.

4. Additional Store & Product Terms

These terms apply to online purchases made through client galleries.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Orders of physical print products are fulfilled by trusted professional labs and may ship separately. Delays due to carrier issues are outside of Photographer control.

5. Model Releases & Promotional Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Photographer reserves the right to:

• Use images for portfolio, website, and social media
• Display work for marketing and promotional purposes
• Clients wishing to withhold this permission must provide this request in writing before the session date.

6. Liability

The Photographer is not liable for:

• Circumstances beyond control (weather, events, technology interruptions)
• Unsatisfactory results due to client behavior (late arrival, refusal to participate, etc.)
• Liability for any claims shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.

7. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session, placing an order, or using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
